It’s not easy being a badass Zombie killer. But somebody’s got to do it.

Page Parker grew up in the aftermath of the Zombie Apocalypse. She grew up running from Zombies and fighting against the constant threat of death and disease. She knows what it’s like to suffer, to go hungry, to hurt… to lose loved ones.

But Page isn’t a little girl anymore.

She’s a strong, independent, capable warrior. Skilled in the art of Zombie killing, Page spends her days protecting her family and the city they call home. Bogotá, Colombia is a long way from where she was born, but this city holds the promise of a future… of a cure.

Until a ghost from her past reappears in her present asking her to dedicate her life to something more than her family… asking her to dedicate her life to the one thing she wants more than anything- Revenge.

My take...

I was immune to this infection, and this immunity provided a rare and valuable resource. My blood offered a new meaning for the future of the world that I had yet to completely comprehend. It was why the scientists spent so many hours studying my blog and I spent equally as many hours giving it to them. It was why our journey to Bogota had been so important. It was why my family had risked and lost so much to get here.
We had a mission. We had a purpose in life.
And yet recently….it wasn’t enough for me.
**

Several years have passed since we last left off with the Parkers. Page is now 18 and trying to find her place in this desolate, dying world. Yes, zombies still exist. In her attempts to strike out on her own she will be faced with many road blocks. Road blocks otherwise known as her brothers. This will be a lot her harder than she thought.

There is no possible way you can understand the depths of my love for this series. I absolutely adored these first 3 seasons under Reagan's POV, and now that I have been in Page's shoes...I know I will love her just as much. She is a lot like Reagan, but there are definitely some differences. Differences that will start making their presence known in the books to come.

Another bonus was the extra chapters in Miller's POV. I wasn't too sure of him towards the end of the last season, but now that I heard what he had to say about the past, I understand him more. It makes sense. And now I am excited for what is to come with him and Page. It won't be an easy road for him to find himself and the self-acceptance he is desperately wanting.

Also, I will note that this book could actually be read without having to read the first 3 seasons. But seriously, who would want to miss out on all the action? All the romance? All the death and destruction? I wouldn’t. So do yourself a favor and read it if you haven’t yet.

Do I already need this series in my life? Does a zombie crave flesh? Absolutely. There are only a couple series and authors I will drop anything (ANYTHING) for. And this is pretty much the first one that comes to mind if ever asked. It is my addiction. My craving. So yes, like a zombie craves flesh….I crave Higginson’s brilliant mind and imagination with this series. 5 Let’s Get This Season Started, Bring It On Stars!

* What celeb would you like to see become a zombie? I'm going with Kanye. Can you imagine?? "I'm gonna let you finish... But first, Braaaaains..."

*One celeb you'd like to see make it until the end? Right now it's a toss-up between Chuck Norris, because I'm pretty sure I would need him to survive the apocalypse and Andy Dalton, who is currently the most important member of my fantasy football team. Just kidding, I'm totally rooting for Rebel Wilson, because I'm positive we're meant to be best friends!!! Emoji

*Zombie apoc just started and you have to flee. Besides family, food, and weapons...what is 3 things you would take with you? This is so tough!! For sure eyeliner... Reagan is a girl after my own heart. An industrial size brick of hair ties. And a copy of Pride and Prejudice! (Possibly the newest version Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. There might be some things I can use in that one...)

*You've been bitten and this is it. One meal you'd like to scarf down before you start craving brains? I'm going to go with a massive gyro with lamb and extra sauce and a side of curry fries. Seems like a good enough transition from food to brains... Lol!

*Now that you're bitten, you are forever to roam this world in the clothes you have on right now. What is it?  Black yoga pants, a black tank top and a black sweater. Pretty sure I dress for the zompoc on a daily basis... I'm so ready for this.

* The one person you'd want to off your rotting corpse? My husband!! He would not only love me enough to do it, he also wouldn't miss!
