Top 10 with Krystal Wade

Krystal Wade, author of the upcoming books Wilde's Fire and Wilde's Army, has joined me today for her Top 10.
You can read about both books HERE

1. fav song/singer?
You have no idea how difficult this question is to answer. I love all music across the genre spectrum. Ask me to name my favorite and you stump me. My favorite song lately has been Numbers by Great Northern, but tomorrow it could be Untouched by The Veronicas.

2. one place you would love to visit?
Bora Bora. Something about those little islands in the middle of all that blue water.

3.fictional character you would love to spend the day with?
Peeta from The Hunger Games. So much dedication there!

4. guilty pleasure?
I drink caramel flavored coffee late at night.

5. fav book and/or author?
My favorite book of all time is The Hobbit.

6. one item you cannot live without?
My cell phone. I use it for everything. Music, email, texting, facebook, twitter, managing my real life and my writer life. Seriously, thank you Apple for making my iPhone.

7. hobby?
I’d love to list some really cool thing here, but I’m a full time mom and work fifty miles from home. I don’t have time for hobbies. I use all my spare time to write my novels.

8. fav movie/actor/actress?
When I was young and just starting out on my own, I didn’t have enough money for cable. I barely had enough money for rent. I had two movies to my name: The Wedding Singer and I can’t even remember the other movie. I watched TWS over and over. It’s been years, but I could probably still recite the movie word for word.

9. fav food?
Sushi. (I can almost hear all the ewwws coming through the computer)

10. who would you like to meet? (dead or alive?)
Henry Cavill. I built a character in my novel, Wilde’s Fire, off him. So I’m naturally drawn to want to meet him “in real life."

Yumm, sushi! No ewwws from me! I love the stuff. And your little story about no cable and having to watch The Wedding Singer over and over is kinda sweet...sad, but sweet. I don't think I have ever watched that whole movie before come to think of it.

  1. Watching that movie over and over was kind of sad, but when you're bored you'll do anything. ;-) Thanks for having me!

  9. I want to try Sushi so bad. There are alot of Sushi joints in NYC but I'm so afraid to try it. Fish can easily be cooked wrong. YIKES! lol :-)

  10. Well, I like my sushi uncooked. ;-) I bet there are a TON of great sushi places near you. Give one a try. Salmon or Tuna are fantastic. Just buy a sampler. Bring someone who has eaten it.

  11. "Hi. Nice to meet you. I'm Julia Guglia." *snickers* Yes, I've seen the silly movie more than once. I love it when the kid says, "You're going to the mental institution." LOL

My husband loves sushi. I will get the California or tuna rolls. That's about it. Just be sure to bring the sake!
