Blog Tour: Asylum by K.A. Tucker {Top 10 and Give@ways}

Welcome to my stop in the Casual Enchantment's Blog Tour!
Today I have Kathleen stopping by to answer some questions for my Top 10....

Hi Mandy! Thanks for having me here today on your blog! You were one of the first bloggers I met and a huge supporter of this series so I’m happy to be here for the Asylum Tour. You’ve asked me to answer 10 questions about myself. Here we go…

1 Guilty Pleasure? Chocolate. I know, I know… not very original. But the quantity of chocolate I can eat is somewhat impressive. I’ll spend a day watching what I eat and working out, and then I’ll demolish half a box of chocolates within five minutes. It’s a little obscene, really.

2 Most favorite food? Ohhh…. Very tough question. I am a food junky. I live to eat. If I HAD to pick one thing though, it would likely be filet mignon. I can never say no to filet mignon when it’s on the menu. Followed by Crème Brulee for dessert (see how I snuck in another favorite food there? I can’t pick just one).

3 One book you could read over and over again? That would be one series and that’s The Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin. They’re giant, meaty books with so much going on in them that you discover something new every time you re-read them.

4 You’re on a deserted island, what would you bring with you? A fully-functioning three bedroom trailer with plumbing and generators. As you can see, I wouldn’t survive long in this situation.

5 Worst Vacation? I’ve been fortunate enough to never have a bad vacation so I can’t speak from experience. However I know people who have gone down south, eaten or drank the wrong thing, and ended up using their entire emergency stash of Imodium. That doesn’t sound like a vacation I’d sign up for…

6 Favorite Song and/or Singer? It changes regularly but right now, it’s a tie between Adele and Muse.

7 Fictional Character you would like to spend the day with? Since I spend most days with vampires, witches, and a werebeast (some would call that a mental disorder but I think it’s a sign of a healthy writer) I’d have to choose Tyrion from Song of Ice and Fire. He’s perfectly repulsive and charming at the same time. It goes without saying I’d choose Adam from “Shatter Me”, Edward from “Twilight”, Ash from the Iron Fey Series , or Four from “Divergent” but that would be for entirely different reason :)

8 One place in the world you would love to visit? After watching “Under the Tuscan Sun”, I’m dying to go to Tuscany.

9 Favorite movie? This answer will change depending on my mood and my memory but right now I’d say Lord of the Rings. On that note, I think I’ll be watching it again shortly… :)

10 Do you have a hobby? Yes, writing :) When not writing, it would be cooking. Time-permitting, I can spend hours in the kitchen, creating a gourmet meal. We’ve been eating a lot of hot dogs and Kraft Dinner lately, though.

Thanks for hosting me here today, Mandy!! For those of you who haven’t started the series yet, Anathema is currently FREE on Kindle, Nook, Smashwords, Apple, and Sony. Asylum is only $2.99!

Thanks Kathleen for all your awesome answers! That is funny you say "Lord of the Rings" because I tried watching it and just could not make it past the 30 min mark. But I do love "Under the Tuscan Sun" and I think I will go put that one in for me. So enjoy your movie and I will enjoy mine!

  1. Great post! If the bookmark looks anything like Asylum's book cover I'd be super excited to win one :)
