Blog Tour:The Last Dawn by Christina Lasater {Top10 and Excerpt}

Today on the blog tour we have Christina Lasater, author of
The Last Dawn.
She took time to answer my Top10 questions and give us a sneak peek to The Last Dawn.
1. fav movie/actor/actress?

My favorite movie is The Wedding Singer, I love Adam Sandler! My favorite actress is Emma Stone.
2. fav song/singer?
My favorite song is Mayonnaise by The Smashing Pumpkins. My favorite singer is Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October.
3. fav place you would love to visit?
I would love to visit Hungary or Poland, that is where my family on my mother's side are from. I just learned I have a few distant cousins who still live in Hungary, it might be nice to meet them.
4. one item you can not live with out?
Hate to say it, but my phone! Especially when I'm not around my kids, they have to be able to contact me. Plus when I get a good writing idea and I can't find a pen, I'll save it on my phone.
5. who would you like to meet?(dead or alive)
My dad's father. He died long before I was born. The stories I've heard about him over the years make him seem like he was really awesome.
6. fav hobby?
Besides writing, it is a tie between listening to music and photography.
7. guilty pleasure?
Watching really sappy chick flicks, the kind that really make you cry!
8. fav author and/book?
Even though I'm older, I've always loved Judy Blume. My favorite book right now is Good Omens by Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett.
9. do you collect anything?
Not really... well, I do have a growing concert tee collection.
10. fav color?
Black :)
Someone else mentioned The Wedding Singer before...but I have never really watched it. I need to. Thanks for all the great answers!!
Now who wants an excerpt? How about one from Chap 10?
"I didn't think you would actually come," James says as he stuffs his clenched hands into his pockets.

"I didn't think that I would either," Madison brushes away a lock of hair stuck to her eyelashes and tucks it behind her ear. Crossing her arms over her chest, she looks away from James and stares out over the ocean.

"What changed your mind?"
"My mother."

"I knew I always liked her," he jokes, cracking a nervous smile. James removes a hand from his pocket and motions over towards the pier. The two stroll over in silence and find a remote spot in the darkness. Secret rendezvous under this same pier was something they often did in their youth. The location is fairly the same as it used to be; the pier's beams have aged and are covered in more graffiti than she remembers. The nervousness she feels at this moment is reminiscent of how she felt back then. James has always had this effect on her, whether she was angry with him or not; he always gives her butterflies.
