THE PARTS I REMEMBER Blog Tour {Top 10}

Please welcome A.K. Mills to the blog for her TOP 10  during the blog tour.

"I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her."
- Julia Roberts, Notting Hill

To put it simply...
"I'm just a writer, standing in front of the world, asking it to enjoy her stories."

1. fav movie/actor/actress?

Movie: It all depends on my mood.
Chick Flic - Sweet Home Alabama
    Comedy - Rush Hour
Drama - What Dreams May Come

Actor: I like Brad Pitt in his quirky roles such as The Mexican and Snatch
Actress: Julia Roberts and Rachel McAdams

2. fav song/singer?
Billy Joel is my favorite singer of all-time, but I really enjoy and listen to Adele, David Gray, and the Killers when I write.

3. fav place you would love to visit?

I always wanted to visit Australia and see the Crocodile Hunter. Sadly, Steve Irwin passed away before I had the chance, but I still would love to go.

4. one item you cannot live without?

    Socks. Definitely socks. Wait...yes, socks.

5. who would you like to meet?(dead or alive)
Shel Silverstein. I love his unique voice and style. His stories and poetry have remained my favorites since childhood and I think he would have been a very interesting person to have known.

6. fav hobby?
Running, no question. It would be perfect if I could find a way to write when I run.

7. guilty pleasure?
Food - Vanilla Greek yogurt with mini chocolate chips
    Television - Nashville

8. fav author and/book?
Shel Silverstein - Where the Sidewalk Ends (Sick and Sarah Cynthia Silvia Stout Would Not Take The Garbage Out)

9. do you collect anything?
Even though I don't drink coffee, I have a collection of Starbucks mugs from all of the different cities that I have visited. I love a good tea latte.

10. fav color?
Depending on my mood, it rotates between: blue, purple, and green.

Act first. Think never. Remember nothing.

Welcome to Kelly Rockport’s existence at Haysville University, where responsibility is just an elective. After all, fake IDs, alter egos, and one-night stands are all part of the college experience, right? So what if she blacks out from time to time? Memory is overrated.

When freshman year lasts about as long as a one-night stand and is quickly followed by the Year of the Blackout, Kelly projects junior year to be nothing shy of amazing. But as shots, beer, cocaine and men mesh together in an intoxicating haze, Kelly’s reckless ways get her into serious trouble. The only problem is, she can't remember what happened.

As she hovers along the edge of consciousness, Kelly forces herself to think past her pain to piece together the shards of her life. This is her story, told in her words: The Parts I Remember.
