My take...
Ellen likes Cam. Cam Likes Ellen. And then comes
Hurricane Laura.
Cam has been waiting for a morning like this to
happen for a long time. Today is the day that he plans to make his intentions
for Ellen known. All was going well until this pixie dust wearing whirlwind
comes crashing into his life and about ruins it all. Or does it? In fact, Laura
may very well be the most perfect distraction ever to ignite his plan. And if a
few new friendships come to fruition...so be it!

I’ve decided Laura’s the closest thing to a
living comet I’ll ever meet. Everyone’s always staring at her because she’s
extra bright and obviously from a faraway place so they can’t look away. I know
I can’t. She’s lucky, too. Instead of how it is when people stare at me because
I walk funny or tumble and fall, they’re simply captivated.

I took my time with this one, but it was one I
couldn't wait to get back to after having to step away from it. It called to
me. I constantly wondered what these amazing kids were up to. Oh yes, after
just starting the book, I was quickly smitten with them all. Cam and Ellen are
absolutely adorable. And Laura was a breath of fresh air to the YA literary
world (couldn't get enough of her). Not to forget Patrick...I loved his fierce
love for his best friend, Ellen. Put these 4 together and you have one power
packed friendship and awesomely awesome characters you won't soon forget.

okay.”
Just as the wind scatters more golden leaves down
over our heads she nods and whispers, “So
do I, if that’s okay?”

Readers who know Eliot's previous work knows that
she likes to weave a tragic tale with heart swooning romance! She likes to give us readers a strong female
lead, but one that has heart and soul too. A lead we can relate to no matter
what she is dealing with. And HOW I FALL is no different. This story is
absolutely fabulous and stole my heart from start to finish. Cannot wait to get
my hands on HOW I FLY. YES!! The story continues on.
