Publisher: Entangled Teen
Publication Date: September 5, 2017

A simple but forgotten truth: Where harbingers of death appear, the morgues will soon be full.

Angie Dovage can tell there’s more to Reece Fernandez than just the tall, brooding athlete who has her classmates swooning, but she can’t imagine his presence signals a tragedy that will devastate her small town. When something supernatural tries to attack her, Angie is thrown into a battle between good and evil she never saw coming. Right in the center of it is Reece—and he’s not human.

What’s more, she knows something most don’t. That the secrets her town holds could kill them all. But that’s only half as dangerous as falling in love with a harbinger of death.

There’s just one problem: the powerful crystals needed to activate the tunnels have been stolen…and David’s parents have mysteriously disappeared along with them. Guess who’s not going home to Havendale anytime soon.
Eric Hamden, squire extraordinaire, survived the poisonous knick of a shadowmorth’s blade, rescued the king of Hirth from the bowels of the dragon's lair, and confronted a heartbreaking betrayal that nearly got him killed. But rescues come in strange ways, and before they know it, the three end up in David's hometown of Havendale...and Eric gets a quick schooling in Modern Life 101. He'd rather fight a dragon.

Now Live: THE BEAUTIFUL NOW By M. Leighton #5StarReview

The Beautiful Now, the new contemporary romance from New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author, M. Leighton, is LIVE!  Get it for the release price of $3.99 while it lasts, or read for FREE in Kindle Unlimited!  Grab your copy here.

Dane James worked my
stepfather’s fields. He was the boy next door.

Strong.

Hardworking.

Forbidden.

From the moment we met, we were star-crossed
lovers—always wanting, never having. We loved each other for most of our lives, but right from the beginning destiny had other plans.  She knew we would fall in love.  She knew we would fall apart.  Over and over again, like the curse of a recurring nightmare.  Or the hope of a
familiar dream.

Our past was tumultuous.  Our future was bleak.  But the one thing we always had was the beautiful now.

Until that was taken from us, too.

Get it for the release price of $3.99 while it lasts, or read for FREE in Kindle Unlimited!  Grab your copy here.

Dane and I...we were transcendent. Even though we didn’t speak or associate, there was something between us, something strong and beautiful, that we could never break. And neither of us tried.
***

The beautiful now is such a beautiful story. So beautiful and so heartbreaking. I started Saturday evening and found myself reading all throughout the day on Sunday. Which is something I seldom do. But I couldn't put this book down. It's story whispered to me and clung to me; silently begging me to hear what it had to say.

What I adored most about this story was the flashbacks. Usually not one for a lot of flashbacks, I found I craved them. I needed to know more about Dane and Brinkley. We saw what lead up to Brinkley's leaving and what it meant to come back home after all these years. We saw right into the heart of it. We saw the heartbreak of her saying a goodbye that no one heard. We saw the torment of a young mother's struggle to swallow her pride and say hello after nearly two decades of being gone. We saw a woman face her past while trying to keep the emotions from bubbling over and spilling her secrets to the man she never stopped loving. Guys, we see it all. And it is beautiful, it’s harrowing and it shook me to the core.

***

I follow him just like I always did. I wonder if I always will, if that’s one of the things that hasn’t changed.

***

And as a mom it tore at me from my inside out. I cried. Lord, did I cry. My heart and tears were wrung dry from the emotions of this book. But I couldn’t pull away from it. I had to see this amazing book to the end. I had to know that maybe, just maybe, Brinkley would get a happy ever after after all she has been through.

Once again I am blown away by all things Leighton. Beautiful story, amazing plot, crafted writing...this book was everything. Reading it you see it play out in your mind as a movie and I didn't want to ever see those end credits roll. I just needed it to keep going. And I am hoping and praying we may get more. Please let there be more. 5 Beautiful Stars!

This is what early readers are saying:

"This is the best book that I have read in 2017 yet!!"  -- Heidi

✩ "I truly wish I could give this one more five stars, I would definitely give 10 if I could. This is one of those books, you just know from the beginning is going to pull at your heartstrings and it really does. I've read of ton of books this year and this one just moved to the top of my favorites list."   --  Catherine

"The Beautiful Now is exactly that - Beautiful. It's love story of epic proportions."  --  Courtney

✩ "What I loved was that their story transcends the span of 22 years and shows that love can last forever even when all the odds are stacked against you. That there is always a way even when we think all hope is lost. That even when we do what we think is best and hurt the ones we love that their is forgiveness to be found and
second chances are a blessing not to be taken lightly. And when faced with the harsh realities of life, love can still prevail over all."  --  Jennifer

"I started reading - and I kept on reading. I couldn't stop. It was all so heartbreakingly sad and beautiful and sweet and frustrating and I just could not stop."  --  Bianca

ELEMENTAL LIES by Elle Middaugh {Excerpt/Giveaway}

Elemental Lies (Essential Elements #2)

by

Genre: YA Fantasy Romance
Release Date: July 24th 2017
Pronoun

Valerie Moore is an Elemental, a person who commands one of the classical elements of wind, water, fire, or earth. She’s special, though. She controls two—fire and water—though sometimes it seems like they control her

After the accidental exposure of Elementals to humanity, Valerie finds herself—and all of her kind—struggling to attain equality. Three different groups fight to secure leadership, and with all of their hidden agendas, she doesn’t know which side to choose. The balance between peaceful cohabitation and all-out war is precarious, at best.

When a chance meeting brings Val and earth Elemental Cade Landston back together, everything changes. She realizes what she knew in the beginning—that he’s the one she wants. Her desire to win him over draws her closer to him, and his vengeful mission to hunt down her murderous grandfather brings them both closer to trouble.

From mysterious doppelgangers to reckless rescue missions, scapegoat bombings, and evolving Elemental powers, Valerie strains to keep up.

All she knows is she must stop her grandfather at all costs. To do so, she has to figure out the truth. But how can she, when almost everyone she knows has been telling lies?

Panic set in at the thought of losing him again, and before I could stop it, ice spread into a crystalized path between us. It wanted to reach out and hold on to him, to keep him there with me, and I could definitely empathize.
I know, it’s depressing, I thought to my element, but we can’t make him stay. Sighing, I pulled the water back in, feeling more connected to it than I ever had before.
“Sorry,” I said, my voice barely a whisper. I should’ve had the icy outbursts under control by then.
Every time Cade and I crossed paths, it was a small miracle, but any relief at finding him alive was eclipsed by the fear of possibly finding him dead the next time. The odds were stacked against us. The game we were playing was much bigger than us, and I was pretty sure neither of us had any idea what we were doing.
He bridged our gap in two steps and took my face in his palms. They were warm and smelled like cypress and evergreens. His green eyes were bright and buzzing with some secret emotion. I hoped it was longing, because then we could match.
The muscles in his jaw and neck were strung tight, like he was fighting something inside.
“No,” he said. “I’m sorry…for everything.”
Then he kissed me.
His fingers tangled in my hair and my body curled into him.
A light ignited in me, one I never knew existed. My soul felt like a sleeping star that had
finally awoken and burst into flames. The shine of it radiated through my whole body, a blinding white light that blocked out the world around me.
My lips were so numb and tingly that I barely realized it when he pulled away. My feet were on the ground, but my mind was still floating up in space.
His chest heaved with uneven breaths. “And I’m sorry for that.”
I blinked slowly. I was certain the universe didn’t make apologies for moments of perfection. Besides, there was no apology in the world that could encompass what had just occurred.
He licked his lips and backed away slowly. “Not for kissing you, because god I’ve wanted to do that for so long…but because I can’t let it happen again.”
