TEMPTED was absolutely fantastic. It had me completely absorbed in the story and embedded straight up in these character’s lives from the start. The book was absolutely raw and gritty to the nature of addiction. I felt, for once, an author got it right when it comes to addiction and the people who deal daily with the temptations their vice brings. A lot of times it seems authors will gloss over the reality of it and have characters being stronger than they really are. Harrison made no such mistake with this book and Bailey’s addiction. For once we see the daily struggles an addict deals with.
Bailey was an amazing girl. I rooted for her and hoped she would kick her addiction to the curb and stay clean. My heart kicked my rear in my chest when things got scary for her and things got questionable. But man, this story had it’s grip in me good. I couldn’t stop reading even if I tried. It was all I did today.
TEMPTED is without a doubt a definite must read. I absolutely recommend. So far all I have read of Harrison’s book have been must read material. Grab it and fall for Drew and Bailey. 5 Stars!
