We met Jude back in ASHER, when he saved Asher from a mugging and they spent the night venting their marital problems to one another over drinks in his uncle’s bar. I was absolutely intrigued then and couldn’t wait to read his story to know more about his young bride.
This book had me on a rollercoaster of emotions. One second I would be on wonderful wave of euphoric bliss when things were going well for both Jude and Skylar, only to be in the gutters of heartbreak in the next breath when it seemed like everyone and everything was out to ruin them. For the most part, I hated the path that life took them on. It was riddled with turmoil and hurt a lot of the time, but it was definitely needed in order for them to come to where they needed to be. A place they needed to find before either could give of themselves.
DON’T KISS THE BRIDE is most definitely my favorite of Cole’s. It was beautifully written and told such a powerful story. One I won’t soon forget. 5 Stars!
