The Host finally has a filming start date. It will start February 13th in Baton Rouge, LA
I have tried to read the book and just couldn't get in to it. I am excited about the movie though because lots of people loved the book.
So those of you that have read the book....casting ideas?

ReplyDeleteI think the cast should be all unknowns. Thats usually better. I loved the book and cant wait to see the movie! also excited for the Hunger Games movie!!!! I love book to movies. Great post I wasnt aware that they were ready to film ... thanks :)

ReplyDeleteDidn't they start casting months ago? I remember it being announced quite a while ago that Saoirse Ronan (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1519680/) had been cast as Melanie (as in official press releases) and now if you look on the IMDB page it has a bunch of other actors listed (ie. Max Irons as Jared- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1517260/).
