I would like everyone to give a warm welcome to Kimberly S. Lin. We are touring her book Recession Proof now through April. And today Kimberly has stopped by to answer my Top 10 post.
You can go HERE to read the first Chap to Recession Proof.
1. fav song/singer?
This is actually a pretty tough question and I think it varies by genre. I am what you would call a music whore. I listen to everything— but gangsta rap. But I tend to like indie music. Right now, I’m loving this band from Ireland called Two Door Cinema Club and my favorite song from them is “What You Know.” TuNe-Yards is an incredibly fresh new band with a unique sound as well. Google, “Bizness.”
2. one place you would love to visit?
I just got back from Southern Thailand and it’s one that’s been on my bucket list for a while. The next place I’d love to visit is Tavarua.
3. fictional character you would love to spend the day with?
This is a no brainer for all chick-lit gals, Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice. Also, I just saw the movie “What’s Your Number?” and [] is hilarious. And Tim Tebow [Denver Bronco’s quarterback], he’s fictional because no one in real life can be that perfect.
4. guilty pleasure?
Fat and opposing authority in passive aggressive manners.
5. fav book and/or author?
Again, it depends on genre. My favorite genres are chick-lit and philosophy. So Heart of the Matter by Emily Giffin. Essays on Work and Culture by Hamilton Wright Mabie.
6. one item you cannot live without?
Aveeno Lotion. I would die without lotion. I have eczema.
7. hobby?
Surfing, badly.
8. fav movie/actor/actress?
Love me if you Dare (French flick)/Robert Downey Jr/ Julie Andrews.
9. fav food?
Japanese anything. But nothing TOO weird. It can get weird.
10. who would you like to meet? (dead or alive?)
Bethenney Frankel.
I have been wanting to see Whats Your Number...guess I will be Redboxing it tonight. And I bet Southern Thailand was beautiful.

I really need to get What's Your Number in my Netflix queue! I've been wanting to see that movie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being part of Kimberly's tour : ))
Great interview. I'm a Julie Andrews fan myself. I've watched the Sound of Music so many times I can't bear to watch it anymore. Just finished reading and reviewing Recession Proof myself, so I decided to come visit the rest of the folks on the tour. Please do stop by...I've included my link.
