So today I am truly excited to have Author Tracey Garvis-Graves on the blog for her Top 10. I started her book On the Island the night before we left on vacation....and fell absolutely in love with it.
I didn't write a review for it since it was my 'for fun reading' but so far it's my favorite book of the year.

1. Guilty pleasure? I really love drinking a glass of wine while reading on my Kindle or hanging out on Twitter. I also enjoy going for long drives by myself with the stereo cranked up way too loud.
2. 1 book you could read over and over? Strangely, it’s Stephen King’s The Stand. I’ve been rereading it once a year since the early eighties. I rarely read horror novels anymore, but this is just an epic book.
3. Fictional character you would love to spend the day with? Considering my love of The Stand, I’d have to go with Stu Redman. For a more recent choice, I’d choose Alexander Belov from The Bronze Horseman. I’ve officially declared him my new book boyfriend. He makes me swoon.

4. One thing you cannot leave the house without? My BlackBerry and Clinique lip gloss. I have a slight addiction to both.
5. Favorite song/singer? I really love 70’s music. When I’m in the car I usually listen to XM’s 70’s on 7 or the 70’s playlist on my iPod. I don’t know that I can narrow it down to one song or artist, but I love Elton John and “Tiny Dancer” has always been a favorite of mine. I have no idea what’s going on in the current pop music scene. I’m so tragically unhip it’s not even funny.
6. Hobby? Reading and surfing the Internet. I love book blogs!
7. Fave movie and actor/actress I love Julia Roberts and Pretty Woman and Steel Magnolias are two of my all-time favorite movies. I also love Sweet Home Alabama and think Reese Witherspoon is absolutely adorable.
8. One place I would love to visit?
The Maldives. Since my book is set there, I'd love to see if I described it accurately. I've only seen pictures, but it looks like a beautiful place.

9. Favorite food? Grilled shrimp. I could eat it every day. If there was a side of pineapple with it I’d be a happy girl.
10. Pet peeve? People that don’t use their turn signals. It drives me nuts because I can’t read minds!
I love Reese too and don't get me started on Steel Magnolias...I cry every time. And yum to grilled shrimp.
