Becoming a Butterfly Blog Tour {Top10 with Mia Castile}

Today Mia Castile has joined us for her Top10 during her blog tour. You can also find my review of her book Becoming a Butterfly today on the blog.

1. fav song/singer?
I really love music, almost as much as I love writing. I'm seriously playlisting Birdy and Skylar Grey right now. But there are too many songs to have one favorite, I might have 10 favorites, ranging from wallpaper to Peter Gabriel.

2. fav season?
Spring, I enjoy looking forward to longer days, and the mild yet warm temperatures. Everything is coming alive, and the colors are so vivid now.

3. worst vacation?
Most of my vacations have been pleasant, I would say the worse experience was driving back from Mexico when I was nineteen, My dad and his wife literally stopped every half hour souvenir shopping the second day of the drive home, and first day back in the U.S., After 3 weeks with them I was ready to be back on my own. So when I took over at Texarkana for the night shift driving, I popped the no-doze and kept up with the semi-trucks. I made it to the Illinois/Indiana border in 7 hours. and we were home with in an hour and half more. The worse part about it, my D.J. AKA step brother hid my Backstreet Boys CD from me, so we had to listen to MA$E and Puff-daddy most of the way.

4. guilty pleasure?
Hot Green Tea. I've given up caffeine, chocolate and sugar in general. I know what your thinking, WHA?!?! but when your guilty pleasure becomes your guilty obsession you have to put it in check and take back control. That's what I'm doing and I feel better for it... most days anyway, and I still get at my peanut butter.

5. fav book and/or author?
Michelle Hodkin The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer I absolutely LOVED that book. I can't wait for her next book in the series The Evolution of Mara Dyer.

6. one item you cannot live without?
My laptop, or cell, do I really only get one item?

7. fav food?
I could live off of Italian food, the more garlic the better.

8. fav movie/actor/actress?
After seeing The Avengers a few weeks ago, I have to say hands down Robert Downey Jr.

9. pet peeve?
Insincerity, someone who is two faced or acts one way around you but the opposite around others. I try to be honest and upfront with everyone, so when it's not returned, That's a big turn-off.

10. fictional character you would love to spend the day with?
Barry Jonsberg wrote Calma Harrison in a book called Am I right or Am I right? She was witty, funny, cute, and really funny *i know i said that already* I think I'd like to spend the day with her and see the world through her eyes.
I absolutely love Birdy...I could listen to her stuff over and over, all day long. And I really want to read The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. Heard so many good things.
