Title: The Boy Who Sneaks in my Bedroom Window
Author: Kirsty Moseley
Source: bought off smashwords
goodreads...
Amber Walker and her older brother, Jake, have an abusive
father. One night her brother's best friend, Liam, sees her crying and climbs
through her bedroom window to comfort her. That one action sparks a love/hate
relationship that spans over the next eight years.
Liam is now a confident, flirty player who has never had a girlfriend before. Amber is still emotionally scarred from the abuse she suffered at the hands of her father. Together they make an unlikely pair.
Their relationship has always been a rocky one, but what happens when Amber starts to view her brother's best friend a little differently? And how will her brother, who has always been a little overprotective, react when he finds out that the pair are growing closer? Find out in The Boy Who Sneaks In My Bedroom Window.

My take...
Amber Walker is not your typical 16yr old. She is trying to
overcome a past of abuse at the hands of her father. Her saving grace? Liam,
her brother's obnoxious best friend who also happens to be the school's male slut.
Ever since they were little, Liam sneaks into her bedroom window and helps her
through the abuse. He is the only thing that calms her. But there is 2
Liam's...there is Nighttime Liam; sweet and kind. And then there is Daytime
Liam; aggravating and sleeps with anything with a heartbeat.
I am gonna have to stop right there. I cannot go any further
about the book...it's something you will just have to find out on your own. How can I say in words how awesome this book is and how flippin'
adorable Liam is? I am at a loss for words when it comes to describing this book. Please for the love of all that is good and
holy...READ.THIS.BOOK!
I fell in love with the characters and their silly, sarcastic
banter. How I loved when Amber would put Jessica in her place. Yes, she said
everything I ever wanted to say to someone evil, but was never quick enough to
think of it in the heat of the moment. And Liam...sweet, sexy Liam...I am crazy
about you. You earn a gold sticker in my book for your swoon worthy ways. Like
this from the book...
"Liam, what
do you want from me?" I asked quietly, looking at my soaked sneakers.
He put his finger
under my chin and lifted my face so I had to look at him.
"Everything," he said simply.
All together now...swooooon! Ok, cougar moment over. Moving on.
Thank you Jennifer Nunez for tweeting and telling me to read it. The Boy Who
Sneaks in my Bedroom Window was a fabulous read and I hope you love it as much
as I did.
Okay, if it was not for your blog, I probably would never have discovered this book! And wow...this book is SO close to my heart, because Liam reminds me, SO MUCH, of a boy in my life! I know, sounds melodramatic and far-fetched, but true. Hey, my parents were never abusive (if anything, I abuse their love and leniency!) but I did put myself through a lot of heartache...and he was always around to pick up the pieces...but I could never trust myself with him, because, I knew too much about who he was, and where he'd been! *le sigh*. This is going STRAIGHT towards the top of my TO-READ list...RIGHT NOW!
