On The Island Event {Promo Post & Give@way}

1.   Hot – The average temperature in the Maldives is around 90 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s a hot, steamy place. T.J. and Anna had sweat trickling down their faces most of the time.

2.   Coconut – Not only did Anna and T.J. subsist on coconut meat and coconut water, the smell of coconut was always on their hands. It’s also one of the first things they conquered once they had the right tools; coconuts are not easy to pry open by hand.

3.   Turquoise – Though the island was in the middle of nowhere, and their situation was dire, both T.J. and Anna could acknowledge the beauty of the crystal-clear water. In my mind, On the Island will always be a swirl of cloudless, cobalt skies and a shimmering turquoise lagoon teeming with marine life.

4.   Buzz – Mosquitoes were constantly present on the island. Not only were they a horrible nuisance, they were almost T.J.’s undoing.

5.   Love – Anna and T.J. formed loving relationships not just with each other, but with the dolphins that visited them regularly. Also one spunky, lucky chicken.  

6.   Mystery – There was an occupant of the island who preceded T.J. and Anna. When they found the skeleton in a cave they wondered who it was. What had happened to this person? Would it happen to them?
