Author Leigh T. Moore has stopped by the blog today to talk a little about her self and the things she likes (and doesn't like).
Jason just wants a date with
Harley.
Harley just wants a date with Trent .
When Harley and Jason decide to
fake date, they uncover a school of deceptions. Trent 's got a secret, but so does Jason. And
the more time Harley spends secretly kissing her fake boyfriend, the further
she gets from her dreams with Trent .
1. fav movie/actor/actress?
I have so many favorite actresses. Constant standbys are Gwyneth
Paltrow and Cate Blanchette, but I’m also really liking Emma Stone (of course),
and I can’t wait to see what Kate Hudson does this season on Glee. (Squee!)
Inside Scoop, when I first wrote The Truth About Faking,
the actress whose picture was up in Trent’s locker was Blake Lively. My agent
suggested I take out her name, though so as not to date the book. J
2. fav song/singer?
Ha ha! I think like most people I’m all over the place when it
comes to music. I like old stuff like Bob Dylan and Belle & Sebastian, but
I also have two young daughters, so I pick up the younger singers like Selena
Gomez and any Will I. Am.
As for Inside Scoop on songs, readers might catch some classic
references in TTAF. (Hints: Sir Mixalot and Outkast.)
3. fav place you would love to visit?
Oh, I’d love to go back to Paris. I’ve only been once years ago
on one of those student trips, and it was so fast and I was so jetlagged, I
don’t remember much. (Other than running around squeeing that I was in Paris.)
Also, since I loved Daughter of Smoke & Bone (and hubs has been), I
want to visit Prague. Yes, I’m a nerd like that. J
4. one item you can not live with out?
It’s a toss-up between my Kindle and my LSU snuggie. J
5. who would you like to meet?(dead or alive)
Ew, hard question! Hmm… I’d really like to meet… well, that’s
just tough. It’s like there are so many, they’ve all just jammed together in my
brain. Maybe Sarah Dessen? Because we’re about the same age, and she’s a writer
and she seems cool. I’d like to pick her brain. (gross—now she doesn’t want to
meet me!) Or Stevie Nicks. Or Paul McCartney. Or…
6. fav hobby?
I guess writing’s my job now. It used to be my favorite hobby.
Can I say reading?
7. guilty pleasure?
Oh, man, I eat too much chocolate when I’m writing. I’m afraid
I’m getting writer’s butt as a result. Note to self—get wogging…
8. fav author and/book?
Now this I’m not sure I can answer. The best book I read
recently was by a friend of mine—My Heart for Yours by Jolene Perry
& Stephanie Campbell. I’m from south Lousiana, so that book not only had a
fantastic love story, but the setting made me homesick. J (But I have tons of favorite authors and books.)
9. pet peeve?
Mean people. (Why?)
10. fav restaurant and/or food?
Back in Baton Rouge (where I’m from), there’s this awesome
restaurant on the LSU campus called The Chimes. They have the greatest, most
delicious, most awesome food, the prices are cheap, and it’s just a landmark.
If you’re ever there, go to The Chimes at the gates of LSU.
Thank you so much for having me, Mandy! I appreciate you, and I
hope you and your readers like my new book!
Thank you so much for stopping by the blog to answer the Top 10. I love hearing what everyone thinks. It's almost always a different answer each time. And I cannot wait to see what Sir Mixalot references you put in The Truth About Faking!
