1. guilty pleasure?
I have quite a few! Most are big on pleasure and short on guilt, but I’ll go
with Outback cheese fries. I’ve made a whole dinner out of those on more than
one occasion.
2. 1 book you could
read over and over?
The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan. I get lost in that story, and want to
crawl into the pages and live in that world.
3. fictional
character you would love to spend the day with?
I’d say Pam from True Blood, but she sleeps during the day and doesn’t strike
me as the type to share her coffin, so I’ll say Indiana Jones. J
4. one thing you
cannot leave the house without?
During the day – sunglasses.
At night – cellphone.
5. fav song/singer?
Josh Groban. He’s amazing, and I love that he sings in so many different
languages. I don’t always understand the words, but it doesn’t even matter. His
voice never fails to stir emotion.
6. hobby?
I make my own jewelry. I’m still a novice, but getting a little better. I’d
like to start working with metal and plan on taking a class after the first of
the year.
7. fave movie/actor and or/actress?
I can’t pick just one. Seriously. Not possible. Morgan Freeman, Jack Nicholson,
Maisie Williams all come to mind. Movies
– Princess Bride, Shawshank Redemption, Fifth Element, Star Wars, Gone with the
Wind, Matrix, Lord of the Rings, Men in Black…I could go on and on and on!
8. one place you
would love to visit?
Rome! The history, the food, the romance – I want to experience every part of
that city.
9. fav food?
Steak, medium rare and preferably cooked over an open flame.
10. pet peeve?
Empty boxes left on shelves, pens with no ink still sitting in a drawer, empty
rolls of toilet tissue still on the holder. Things can’t always be replaced,
but if the last of an item is used- for
the love of all that’s holy, throw away the evidence. J
I think I would rather have my sunglasses during the day instead of my cellphone. With my stupid astigmatism I cannot see to drive with out my sunglasses. And now I am hungry for steak. Yum!

What one angel will risk to earn the title of Herald,
is matched only by what another will do to keep it.
Heralds are the most powerful of all angels, secretive and feared, created for a single purpose. Only those most courageous and worthy earn a place within the elite choir, and only by breaking ancient oaths held sacred can the honor be stripped. It's a punishment that hasn't been imposed in over two-thousand years, until a single reckless act sets off a firestorm, threatening to consume all creation.
Rise Hawke never suspected she'd been marked to play a role in the deadly events unfolding in the spiritual realm. Independent and resistant to authority, she isn't thrilled when she meets Dominik, an angel with new wings, an old grudge, and a mysterious agenda he's determined to impose.
Vowing to uncover the secrets kept from her, Rise soon learns that knowing what you are isn't nearly as dangerous as discovering why. Hunted by those who want to destroy her, and controlled by those who would see her fulfill her purpose, she is forced into a brutal battle set in motion long before she was ever born. It soon becomes clear that what one angel will risk to earn the title of Herald, is matched only by what another will do to keep it.
