*I actually rated this book 4.5 stars…but when leaving reviews at sites such as Goodreads, Amazon, etc…I round it to the next highest star.
**
Anyway, Gallatin and I weren’t really friends. When all was said and done, we were on opposite sides of the line. We were enemies, and for now, I was his prisoner.
**
Plucked off the road and sent to stay in a camp against her will, Prentiss makes it her mission to find out who it is that kidnapped her and get her friends out alive. Even if it means befriending the enemy.
This was a great book. Although the first part dragged a tinsy, tiny bit…the 2nd half really picked up and I flew through it until I was finished. I enjoyed the characters throughout the book and the relationships that formed. Especially between Prentiss and Gallatin. So when the ending came, I was rooting for the right thing to happen. And I was very pleased. Very pleased! And not mention, the romance that showed itself at all the right times...loved it!
**
Still, just as a secret for me, just for tonight, I allowed myself to drift to sleep thinking of a harvest moon somewhere in a different world. Somewhere where it would be okay to let myself relax in his arms. Where it would be okay to reach up and touch his face, to seal our dance with a kiss.
**
The author takes the reader on a fabulous journey the whole time. You are not sure who it is that is behind the abduction of half a town or even the why, but you get so immersed you steadily read on to know what happens next. You have to know what the heck is going on and why has the rest of the world has not taken noticed? Or have they? Is this happening everywhere or just small town Dabb Creek?
If you are looking for a great YA read, this is the book for you. Full of nail biting suspense, this book is sure to keep your attention. 4.5 Stars!

DeleteThis looks like a good book to me! I have seen it around on a few other blogs, and I love the premise. I haven't seen much of the show Lost either, but it seems good to me.
