LOSING THE ICE by Jennifer Comeaux {Giveaway/Review}

Series: Ice #2
Release date: February 23rd 2015

Courtney and Josh are in love and excited to finally compete as skating partners. When they take the ice for their first competition, they want to show everyone, especially Josh's family, they are the perfect pair.

But ice is slippery, and one misstep puts all their dreams in jeopardy. Now they must show each other both their love and their partnership are strong enough to survive.

Josh and Courtney are about to embark on the journey of a lifetime. Not many skaters get to skate with their one true love. But these two are making it happen. They have the support of friends and family behind them. Just not Josh's family. Then tragedy strikes and their dreams of skating together may cease before it ever got a chance to take off. Will their love be enough to make it back on the ice?

Josh and Courtney are some amazing characters that have been through a lot and still have hurdles to overcome. But when they are together you can feel the love they have for one another. As they face the unthinkable in this book, we see a side of Josh we haven't seen before. His confidence is threatened and Courtney has to step up her game when dealing with him. The reader will hurt for them both as they sort through their feelings and try to come out of the rubble left over from the accident. Tensions are flaring and at times their future seems bleak, but Comeaux is a master with her words at telling a story full of romance and anxiety.

Any time I crack open on of Comeaux's books I am immediately immersed into her world of figure skating. This is the author that brought on a love for the sport in me. She has you believing you are the one living the story and out on that ice...spinning, lifting, and twirling. It really is a magical experience to read one of her book and live them in your head. 5 Stars!

Jennifer Comeaux is a tax accountant by day, writer by night. There aren’t any ice rinks near her home in south Louisiana, but she’s a die-hard figure skating fan and loves to write stories of romance set in the world of competitive skating.

One of her favorite pastimes is traveling to competitions, where she can experience all the glitz and drama that inspire her writing. Jennifer loves to hear from readers!
