My playlist for 21 STOLEN KISSES is relatively short because my inspiration was very specific for this story. The love is deep, intense, and powerful...and I think the songs reflect that, as well as reflecting the tastes of the character.

WHAT I DID FOR LOVE - From Chorus Line - The song comes from a moment in A Chorus Line when the dancers reflect on what they will do if they can can no longer dance, and the answer is simple: “But I can't regret what I did for love.” That’s how I imagine Kennedy and Noah feel about each other.

I KNOW HIM SO WELL - From Chess - This is the song that first links Kennedy and Noah, when they share the lyrics with each other and the lyrics reveal how they are starting to feel for each other. And this musical plays a key role in their love story.

I love the anthemic beauty of this song. It’s a call to live for today and to love for today -- to give all of yourself because life and love is happening now.

I’m not sure I entirely want to understand what this song means as I think it has quite a bit of darkness in it, but the title so aptly describes love :)
