goodreads...
Zombies- as if that wasn’t enough to ruin any girl’s dream of a happily
ever after.
In the conclusion of Love and Decay, Season Three, Reagan and friends have
made it to Colombia, but their fight out of hell is not over.
Starving, dehydrated and out of ammo, the group is at their lowest. Even
though they’ve reached their final destination, there is not much hope that
they can survive the night. Exhaustion and grief have debilitated them until
they are willing to make desperate, dangerous decisions. Decisions that might
very well be the end of them.
Is there hope at the end of the world? Can Reagan and her loved ones find
the safety and security they’ve been searching for over the last three years?
Or will the Zombie Apocalypse finally destroy them?
Love and Decay, Episode Twelve is the final episode in Season Three of a
novella series in a Dystopian Romance about Zombies, the end of the world and
finding someone to share it with.
This story takes place over multiple episodes, with a release date every
two weeks. Approximately 20,000 words.
My take...
We made it.
We made it to the country, and then a week later, we made it to the
capitol.
I still couldn’t believe we were here.
That we made it.
That our happiness had been stolen, our sanity questioned, our foundations
rocked to the core, but we were here.
Finally.
**
We catch up with the group rolling into Columbia on fumes. Literally.
Starved and broken down (in all aspects) the group must manage to stay alive
long enough to find the researchers before it is too late. How crazy would it
be to realize they fought through hell to make it here, only to die first or
find out there is no one left searching for the cure?
Oh dear me. Here I sit, typing this review of LOVE & DECAY for the very
last time. Well, for Reagan that is. Higginson plans to continue on with the
series but with a different POV. I won't let on to who it is going to be. I'll
let you find out for yourself at the end of the book. But oh the possibilities
that are sure to come!
And let me tell you...this series has been my favorite from the very first
words. I got my romance and my zombie fix. I got characters that have become a
family of sorts for me. I also got a storyline that never stopped or bored me
what so ever. What more could I possibly ask for? Nothing, that's what. All
that wraps up to make the best darn novella series ever written. In my honest
opinion at least. And I will stick with it until Higginson says she is finished
and done with it all.
Sensational characters, flesh eating zombies, and a love story that readers
have gone gaga over since the beginning. 5 Stars!
