My take...
I was absolutely delighted to start this first book of which is sure to be
an amazing, unique series. Felix did a fantastic job setting the stage and
getting readers ready for what is to come.
In THE SKINWALKERS, Felix delves a bit darker in her writing. And I for one
was excited to see it happen without it compromising her past work. Some of the
scenes portrayed an edgier more adult sound. But all in all it was a great and
suspenseful read.
After finishing book one I am excited for the next installment, THE WOLVES.
