Top 10 with Author Janiera Eldridge

Today I have Author Janiera Eldridge. I will soon be reviewing her book Soul Sisters in August.
Soul Sisters is an urban fantasy novel about African-American twin sisters Ani and Dana who have a rather unique secret: one sister is human while the other is a vampire.

While the sisters have lived peacefully with each other for many years one fateful night will change both their lives forever. When a drunken man tries to attack Dana (the human sister) Ani (the vampire sister) protects her sister with all of her ferocious power.

However, when the vampire?s leader Donovan finds out about the public display he calls for the sisters to be assassinated for disobedience. Ani and Dana now are in for the fight of their lives to protect each other as well as the lives of their dedicated friends who have joined them on their mission for survival. If Dana and Ani can make it through this time of uncertainty, Ani can take her new place as vampire queen. Soul Sisters is expected to be a trilogy; The book also features a multicultural cast of characters that brings a new edge of chic to the vampire world.

1. fav song/singer? My favorite singer is Justin Timberlake. I love him as an actor but I really, really wish he would get back in the studios. I grew up with him and he'll always be my favorite. I don't have a favorite song only because I love way too many different songs.  We would be here all day lol.

2. pet peeve? People who assume that because they don't like a book, the book sucks. No one reads the same book in my opinion so when people act like because they didn't like a book no one else should be reading it, it really gets on my nerves.

3. worst vacation? I've pretty much love every vacation I've ever been on. I guess I'm lucky in that sense but every vacation brings me nothing but good memories... and longing to go back on vacation.

4. guilty pleasure? The television show American Horror Story.  Sex, blood and violence.... I  just can not wait for it to come back.

5. fav book and/or author? My favorite book is The Help. It changed my life and made me want to be more vocal on things I care about like Universal health care, gay marriage and support for families who take care of autistic children. I've never been so moved by a book in my life. My favorite author is Stephanie Meyers because she got me reading again and is the reason I write now.

6. one item you cannot live without? My laptop, Kindle is a close second but I would just die without my laptop.

7. hobby? When not reading, supporting other indie authors.

8. fav movie/actor/actress? Viola Davis is my favorite actress, she is incredible in everything. Leonado Dicaprio is my favorite actor. Not only is he a fine Scorpio man he is an amazing actor, I've never been disappointed in one of his performances.

9. fav food? Chinese food, could it once a day forever!

10. who would you like to meet? (dead or alive?) Rod Serling, the man was a writing genius. I'm a Twilight Zone addict and would give anything to talk to him about his brilliant writing. If he we're still a live he would still be changing television.

I have yet to read The Help or watch the movie. And I really want to...I just forget to get it at Redbox. Also I love to watch all the marathons of The Twilight Zone. Just got done watching it on July 4th ;)
