goodreads...
With a renowned reputation as a player, she had everything figured out...

Twenty-year-old college student, Natasha is the life of every party and the reason behind many celebrations. The easiest girl on campus has all guys at her feet and more than a few in her bed.

…until he came into the game…

Having entered the academic world by chance, Professor Jason Stone is surprised to find one of his young students a huge temptation. The infamous Natasha has caught his attention. But is there more to her than meets the eye?

…and changed the rules.

As their unexpected friendship grows, so does their attraction to each other. When Jason’s Christmas plans are canceled and he ends up at the same party as Natasha, sparks flare, destroying the safe zone around them. Will they figure out how to break through their self-imposed barriers to be together, or lose one another forever?

My mini take...
Who would have thought that being alone on Christmas would actually turn into something good? I mean, Christmas is, after all, one of the worst times of the year to be alone. But not for Natasha and Jason. After months of having to resist the growing feelings for each other...one night a passionate kiss changes everything. But will it change things for the good or for the bad? Will Jason's career as a Professor get in the way or will Natasha's reputation send Jason running far away?

This short story was just too adorable for words. I love a good story about 2 people and a forbidden relationship. And I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved the story line and the characters. Short stories often leave a lot up to the reader’s imagination; but not with this book. The author did a great job adding history and development to the characters which I instantly felt I could connect with. And the author’s writing flowed so well I couldn’t believe I was done with the story when I was. Only down fall would be how fast the story went. I would have loved to have more of these 2 sweet characters.

If you are looking for a quick story to read in between longer books, then this one is perfect. Also with the setting being Christmas, now is the perfect time to read it. Buy the book, start a fire and grab your cocoa…I promise you will be smiling when you finish the story.
