She was merely a pawn in their game.
And then something happened.
Once the fragile, naïve human, Evangeline has become altogether … different.
A being who holds formidable power, she may be the key to changing the course of fate.
Or she could be the final nail in the world’s coffin.
But Evangeline doesn’t know exactly what she is, what she can do. She knows only that she has to stop an enemy far worse than the Sentinel and the sorceresses—one driven by revenge.
And he’s hunting the man she loves.
As Evangeline fights to keep Caden alive and the human population from eradication, she can’t help but sense the imminent doom.
Find out if fate will prevail in the harrowing conclusion to the Causal Enchantment series.

Character Interview with Evangeline...
*For those not familiar with you, tell us a little bit about yourself.
Hi, my name is Evangeline Watts. I’m eighteen years old (and I guess I’ll be eighteen years old until the end of time, as it stands now).  I’ve been royally f***ed by the Fates’ magic since the day I was born, though I only found out recently. Let’s see, what else is there … I am master to a three-hundred pound werebeast and my boyfriend and best friends are vampires. And I love daisies.

*You happened upon this life by taking a simple assistant job...any regrets?
Crazy, right? I know people think I’m stupid for saying “yes” to Sofie’s proposition but given my current predicament, I didn’t think it could get much worse. As far as regrets go, I would have ended up in this exact same place—or dead—even if I never climbed into that limo. It’s what fate—or the Fates—had decided for me. At least now I have friends. And Caden.

*You are quite the jet setter, so to speak. Tell me a little about the places you have visited during your journey.
“Visited” seems like the wrong word, doesn’t it? Between the luxurious Manhattan, the medieval Ratheus, the isolated Siberian Mountains, the remote island of the Walking Death tribe, Nathan’s French Chateau, and now these old cement minds in middle-of-nowhere New York State, I’ve done more travelling in the past four months than I have in my entire life.

*Care to kiss and tell? Tell us about your relationship with Caden.
We’ve been through a lot, haven’t we? I had hoped that if we somehow got past the curse, the tribe’s magic, and the psychotic fake girlfriend, we’d just be together. It’d be easy.
It’s still not easy. Don’t get me wrong, “we” are certainly an item. There’s no confusion there. No more avoiding, no more pretending that I’m not madly in love with him. But, now that Manhattan is about to be overrun by fledglings, there’s no time for holding hands and kissing and … no, I don’t kiss and tell *winks*.

I bowed my head into his chest and let my hands glide along the curves of his sculpted chest. "I don't even need to sleep anymore, but I want to. Just curl up in a ball, close my eyes, and enjoy the silence."
"I know what you mean." A hand brushed my hair off my forehead. "It's what happens when you know you have to make a hard decision."

The war has started but it is far worse than Evangeline could’ve ever imagined. And it has all started thanks to her actions. Now it is up to her to stop it before it ends the world and those that she loves most.

One word for this book? Chilling. It was absolutely chilling to read about all the death and destruction happening around everyone I've come to call family. You know, I am not sure I have ever had a book give me this sort of reaction. But I was definitely feeling it with this one. I hurt and grieved for my dear friends as they fought off the horrifying advances of Viggo. If they thought he was evil before, they sure weren't ready for the Scorned and Rejected version. Scorned and Rejected Viggo is about to dive deep into the bowels of hell and reign havoc on innocent people.

After the last book, ALLEGIANCE, I wasn’t entirely happy with Caden. But this time around I am. He is better and sure knows how to charm his way back into my good graces. And I happily accepted him back. But his charming ways don’t last long. Something horrifying happens and sets everyone on edge and breaks a few hearts. Evangeline is the only one that can help. How she does it is a mystery that even Sofie can’t explain. The Fates have their hand in her new change but at the moment the group of friends can’t tell if this is a good thing or a bad. Only time will tell.

But these ‘Fates’. Ugh. I am so over them. They sit there and play with people’s lives as if they are mere pieces in a game. Well, to them, people are. It is all a game with them. Literally. But I will say that I wasn’t expecting the story to go the way it did in the end. Do the Fates get what is coming to them? Or will they continue to wreak havoc on the worlds? Yes, a truly interesting turn of events will leave you gasping.

ANOMALY is an exciting, action packed, suspenseful read that will have you devouring the book to get to the ending…just aching to see how it ends for everyone involved. I know I was inhaling it and loving it throughout the entire book. 5 Incredible, Jaw Dropping Stars!
