RAIN by Christie Cote Blog Tour {Interview/Giveaway}

Taylor Sullivan took her life for granted until she received news that would change her life forever. In a state of denial she met Kyle, who didn’t end up being what she expected. She wasn’t able to escape her new reality, but with his friendship, just maybe she could survive it.

1. When did you pick up a pencil or start typing out a story for the first time? I believe it was in 2005, but when I first began writing I didn’t date things. Oops. I started verbally telling stories at a young age though; I just didn’t realize what I was doing at the time.

2. Besides writing what is your dream job? Nursing, I would really like to help people and make a difference.

3. Who is your most favorite character to have written? I haven’t written that many characters yet, but it is still hard to choose. For now, I think I will have to go with Kyle from Rain. He turned out to be more than I expected when I added his character.

4. Are you afraid to kill off a major character in one of your stories? Are you worried about fan retaliation? That is difficult to say. I think if I feel the need to kill off a character, and it is what needs to happen in the story then I will do it. When I write, I need to be true to myself and the story, so if there was retaliation that would suck, but I can’t tailor my writing because people might get pissed at me.

5. What are you reading at the moment?
Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover. It is amazing, I love the whole book and soundtrack experience.
