FAR FROM SAFE is by far one of my most sought after zombie read this year. I was gnawing at the bit for it’s release. And what a glorious day it is to have this book in my hands. Yeah, it was absolutely fantastic and pretty much unputdownable.
It has been since the very first of April that I have yet to read any zombie and/or apocalyptic stories. I just could not do it with the pandemic raging like one of these books come to life. But Mary turned all that around with Devon, Rowan, Kiaya and many new favorites. I wholeheartedly love this series!! I would love to see many, many books come from it.
What’s amazing about her books, is that even though we all know this world from the other books Mary has created, it comes off different in each series. It 100% is these incredible characters. Each create a phenomenal world unique to them, and sometimes with a few crossovers dotted throughout.
But guys, so much happens in this book. I was all over the place with my feelings for Devon and Rowan. My hatred for Miller. My unease with Buck and Hank. I am telling you, the emotions are high in this one. I am so desperate to find out what happens next....because what the actual crap!!! THAT ENDING!!! Bring it to us quickly, please!! 5 Stars!!
