Olympic rings and an engagement ring.
Courtney Carlton is ready for both.
She and her boyfriend Josh have skated together and dated for four years, and they’ve reached a critical point in their partnership both on and off the ice. With the Winter Games coming up and their career nearing an end, they are fighting to win a spot on the Olympic team, something Courtney has dreamed of since she was ten years old.
She also has another wish she hopes comes true soon. She’s waiting for a marriage proposal from Josh that she expected to happen by now. Will she realize either dream or will her heart be broken from disappointment?

When Josh and Courtney started off on this amazing adventure
a few years back, neither one thought it would bring them to the Olympics. Both
just wanted to enjoy skating together. But as time nears, they may actually
have a chance. And It’s a chance that Courtney cannot deny wanting. But she
also wants a future with Josh and a marriage. Will she be able to achieve both
her dreams? Or will both slip between her fingers before they come to fruition?
I really enjoyed this sweet, quick read. I thought it was a
great addition and conclusion to the story. I just wished it hadn't seemed
quite so rushed. Just when one problem made itself known, it seemed like
"ta-da" and it was over and done. I guess what I am saying is, I wish
there would have been more build up to all that could have gone wrong before it
got fixed up.
Other than that, I adored this book and this series so very
much. Comeaux really makes the reader feel connected to the skating scene as if
they are the ones on the ice. I feel as if I actually know a thing or two after
reading so many of her books. The books are just so darn fun to read and the
romance is beautifully written.
Oh yes, it wouldn't be a Comeaux book if there wasn't some
perfectly executed romance in them. I have come to expect something swoon
worthy every time I pick up one of her books and I am never let down. Always
done to perfection!
4 Wonderful Stars!
Jennifer Comeaux is a tax accountant by day, writer by night. There aren’t any ice rinks near her home in south Louisiana, but she’s a die-hard figure skating fan and loves to write stories of romance set in the world of competitive skating. One of her favorite pastimes is traveling to competitions, where she can experience all the glitz and drama that inspire her writing.
Great review. Glad you enjoyed it :)
