Goodreads...

Someone has torn them apart in the past, and she plans to do it again…

As Nick and Quinn piece together the truth about the life they once shared, they discover it was much deeper and darker than they ever imagined. In order to keep history from repeating, Quinn will need to master her unusual gifts—but that means admitting to herself and to Nick why she stopped using them in the first place.

He may never forgive her when he learns the truth, but Quinn is running out of options—because the clock is ticking, and it’s no longer just her life that hangs in the balance.

My take...

When I started PARALLEL I had no idea what I was getting myself into. This author upended me in the best possible way. These characters spoke to me long after I finished the book. I wasn’t sure I could wait the week and a half it was going to take for INTERSECT to come out. But I made it and it was well worth the wait.

O’Roark you blew me away. I believe I bit all my nails to the quick reading this book. It gutted me not knowing if everything stacking against Nick and Quinn could be righted. I had a feeling a happily ever after may not be in the cards for them. As we inched closer to the end I felt dread and doom thinking the worst is yet to come. But I was pleasantly pleased with the ending. The build up was masterfully done and it was all perfectly written. And did I mention I read it all in one day? Yes, that good!!!

If I could give this book...this entire duet...a hundred stars I would. They are definitely one of my top reads this year. I absolutely and wholeheartedly suggest you pick it up today. And to know there is another book from this world coming out soon?? My heart is forever happy. I am ready for it more than I can express. Bring it!! 5 So Worth It Stars!
